inspired by her experiences living with mental illness, maya has written a number of songs about topics ranging from suicide to obsessive compulsive disorder to her experience as a transgender woman. please click on the album covers below to check them out.

the instrumental stuff

originally, maya wanted to be a composer for video games, so lots of her music is reminiscent of that of nintendo games. some of her biggest musical inspirations are the likes of lena raine, toby fox, and (especially) yoko shimomura. maya has written lots of instrumental music inspired by these artists, including an entire album written as a soundtrack for a d&d one-shot she ran. please click on the album covers below to check them out
